This book is a manual for building a Magnetic Bubble Computer, first conceived by A. H. Bobeck, along with others. It discloses original circuit diagrams designed by an enthusiastic hobbyist and mathematician, Dr. Rada Higgins, and discusses a major problem in building the magnetic bubble computer, which has not been developed since the 1970's.
Excerpt
A control & clearing array will ideally consists of a cluster of k BCD conversion units, for applying controls to a gate array (or unit) of 4k elements and, also, for "clearing" the unit of residual domains.
Control bubbles are inserted in each unit of the cluster by sending 15 bubbles along the controlled path of the adjoining resident bubble switches. Clearing, afterwards, consists of sending one bubble along the controlled path.
