God has a purpose for everyone. Romans 8:28

The Christmas tree That Didn’t Get Picked.

God creates everything for a very special purpose, even Christmas trees.  This is the story of two Christmas trees that are very good friends. The story is about friendship, truthfulness, love and growing; it’s about being accepted for who you are. These two are very special tree’s that have grown together side by side for years and now it’s their turn to be picked by that very special family. Their greatest desire is to share Christmas with a family, a family they could call their own; it’s their purpose here on earth. They believe this is why God created them.  They soon learn that not everything happens the way we want them to.  They also learn that everything in this life is in Gods hands and that sometimes our plans are not what God has in mind for us.

God has a purpose for evryone.

Professional Reviews

A reader/ Modesto, Ca
It's an inspiring book that makes you think twice about things that happen in your life that may seem like bad things at the time, but may have a greater purpose. It's a book along the lines of Frosty the Snowman and Roudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I think it's destined to be a classic. The author is adept at making you feel the hurt of Christmas trees, it's an odd thing to think about but in the book it seems only natural. I highly recommend this book to anyone, it's one that I would read to my kids year after year in front of the fireplace on Christmas eve.

" This story is heart warming, loving and inspirational. It shows how God has a plan in mind for all of us. This novel is wonderful for both young and old. It will give you a new outlook on life. It will make you think the next time you choose a Christmas Tree. Will it be a Douglas or a Fraser? We personally called ours Douglas. He was a strong and mighty tree that stood tall and full. We had a grand Christmas that season. This novel also, says so much about the author the lovely Lisa Lynn Ivey. Her love for her children, her husband and the Lord Jesus Christ "
