As a true representative of the Rosicrucian literary genre The Little Book of Creation has two parallel stories: one exoteric and mundane story of the “forbidden love” between two individuals, and other esoteric and obscure of the quest for the true meaning of love and life.
Seemingly perfect “earthly marriage” broken apart for a sake of the love affair that does not give any guarantees for the future, is just a template for a much more important story: one of the conflict between morals and passions; between right and wrong; of the symbolical death and rebirth; of the initiation into the higher self; of the mystical road less traveled…
The Hero in this story never exactly reaches the summit of true enlightenment, but comes out as a stronger and more complete being, with an important message: It is not about winning or losing..it is about understanding; or as the Author tells herself: “ One smile is a better teacher than a well of tears”.

Excerpt

The planets were circling in their paths, again and again, twirling endlessly in the change of days and nights, and the star and the comet were persistently looking at each other, unable to take away the sight from one another.
“Well, my system is stable and orderly” the star started to hesitate. “There is no smallest asteroid or stone that is not under my control. Everything is in perfect balance. Maybe I should just try it, one comet can not disturb my order!”
Soon the comet was thinking in the same way:
“I am the fastest and most agile comet in the universe”, she concluded. “I have never lost not even a piece of my tail, and I passed through many systems and met many stars!I know how to preserve necessary distance and I know when I have to run away. I could come a little closer; I shouldn’t be so afraid.”
And in one moment, the comet hesitantly directed her path towards the star, and that one directed her forces towards the comet and started to pull her towards herself. As they were approaching, the vibrations of past harmony became stronger and stronger.
The star and the comet felt they were taken by beautiful feeling, completely new, but familiar like a memory and unspeakable like eternity, and they hurried one towards the other, faster and faster. The star was shinning brighter than ever before, and the comet felt that light going through her and shinning out of her like being her own. But as they were so close feeling that in a little while some-thing magical will happen, the whole star system started to twinkle and one planet flew out of her path. The star pulled in all her forces, directing them towards her system, trying to make order again. The comet felt she was alone and free again. Suddenly she realized that her whole body started to melt and that her tail almost burned out com-pletely. With panic she flew out of the system back into the universe.
The star was hurryingly working, trying to put everything back into its place, proud of her powers. But this pride didn’t bring her satisfaction this time. In one part of her the memory of the comet was present and that beautiful feel-ing she felt while she was approaching. She didn’t allow herself to think if she had made a mistake that she stopped pulling the comet towards herself, of course she didn’t, but constantly she thought it wasn’t impossible, and that there must have been some solution. Anyway maybe the disorder that happened had nothing to do with the comet, that happens from time to time, and it was just co-incidence. She would love if the comet came by again.
The comet was floating through the universe waiting that her body becomes harder and tail recovers. Sometimes she would ecstatically observe the big star’s picture in her and the memory of that event, while the next time she would observe in herself only a black, endless and cold emptiness, like the cosmos, and felt so afraid and lost. Nor the first nor the second were good solutions for her, as they have taken away her energy, and her tail would get dispersed again. She was recovering very slowly.
“ I have to stop to float so aimlessly and recover my es-sence or at the end I will completely fall apart”, she concluded one day. Not far from her she noticed a group of twirling cosmic stones. The comet directly ran into them and just in the right spot. The stones were scattered, rotat-ing in all directions, and then again began to regroup until they formed three groups that were slowly circling one around the other in a harmonious way.
“Yes, this is much better”, the comet thought. But she didn’t feel any better because of that, and the picture of the star didn’t disappear for a moment, not even when she was planning where to hit, nor when she was with speed and skill aiming at its goal.
One question was constantly bothering the comet. While she was advancing towards the star she felt like she was fulfilling her destiny. She has never felt something like that before, but she was sure she was not mistaken. But that was not possible! Everything started to fall apart, and if they would start again, the same would have happened. How can a destiny not allow you to fulfill it?
In any case, the things she was doing until then were not needed any more. Actually she didn’t need anything any more. It gave her pleasure only to be immersed in her thoughts and not be bothered with anything else. She was recovering very slowly so she decided to go to the farthest and loneliest parts of the universe
Wondering like that the comet arrived really far. For a long time she was passing through some empty lifeless spaces, when suddenly she noticed that different celestial bodies were flying by her with an incredible speed… so fast that she could barely notice them before they disap-peared in a far distance. She has never seen something like that and went in the direction from which the bodies were coming, so she could see what it could be. Soon in front of her one giant, shiny whirlpool, endlessly deep and full of things, from which from time to time, like thrown with a terrible force, flew out celestial bodies. The comet realized she has arrived to the Big Whirlpool, the place where universe begins. All the inhabitants of the universe knew about it, but only the most persistent cosmic wan-derers succeeded in seeing it, as it is surrounded with a long and large emptiness. The Legend said that every-thing that exists was born from the Big Whirlpool, and that in the Universe exist the forces that take back all the re-mainings of everything that dies ( even though the celestial bodies have an extremely long life, they too die). In the Big Whirlpool they will re-melt again, mix with some other ones and fill with life.
Indeed the comet saw how the pieces of dead stone, dust and extinguished stars are flowing into the opening while in the same time, new, living bodies were flying out. For a long time she was just observing this site. Everything was happening in perfect harmony. “There is some law, that rules over everything and everything abides by it.” she thought. The absence of wishes and refusing, non exis-tence of acceptance and refusals, just a simple harmonious work was an absolute beauty. The comet looked at it with awe. Suddenly she felt so happy that she is also part of that endless perfection.
She wanted to come closer and see into the center on the Whirlpool, but the closer she came, she was moving slower, until she finally hit into an invisible border. A cer-tain force was letting everything in and out, but she couldn’t go further. from the place where she was standing she could see the whole opening filled with harmonious, bright light completely different from the light that formed in fiery explosions of the stars.
The comet was floating along the invisible borderline. The speed with which the newly born bodies were flying out was enormous, but the comet was carefully observing and noticed that it is not always even and the direction the bod-ies take is not always straight. She understood that the cosmic bodies don’t fly out aimlessly, but for each exists already a certain place, somewhere in some part of the universe. Everything was shining form the light and was happening logically and easily.
“The parts of the universe are flowing into the light and are flying out of it as by command, like someone is taking and giving them”, she thought. ”Like this light is celebrating the magnificence of the Creator of everything through taking and giving.”
As soon this thought came to her, the comet felt in her waking up of an old, lost memory. First the picture of the star showed, then the feeling of uniting and the comet was struck with such yearning, that she started to beg the crea-tor to break her, that she melts down with the rest of the dead bodies in the Whirlpool and melts into something else and disappears once for ever. But the picture of the star was growing and became a huge, shiny and perfect Ball. The comet saw how both she and the star are in it, but look different than now. The Ball was shining in the same light that was coming from the Big Whirlpool.

- We are the perfection of the Creator- the parti-cles of the ball were saying- and the universe is so diverse, but imperfect!
- Yes, replied the others- we should really do something about that.
- Really, replied the third ones- the universe like this doesn’t befit nor to us nor to the Creator.
The particles of the Ball decided to create and change.
-Let’s form a more perfect universe- the particles of the star said, and the others agreed joyfully-We can take everything that’s good in the universe and so create a new world in which only harmony will prevail!
- But no, replied the particles of the comet; let’s give a gift of our harmony and light everywhere we pass by, while the whole universe is transformed as ours is!
But the moment they said “no”, the harmony disappeared and the ball fell apart in two parts.
The Comet now remembered everything. “We were cre-ated perfect”, she thought, “so we could with our harmony celebrate the magnificence of the creator and be happy with the endless colorful world. Instead, we were taken aback with the wish to take over the role of the Creator! Vanity has darkened the essence and hop- the harmony was broken in pieces in a second, like the cosmic dust particles when I fly through them.”
She looked into the center of the Big Whirlpool. ”The Star decided to take, and me to give”. She said to herself. “But we are doing everything but that”, she thought, look-ing how the particles of the universe I perfect rhythm flow in and out of the light. Now it was clear to her how des-tiny can allow someone not to fulfill its role. They were destined to be together again; but before that they have to learn the lesson why they became as they did. The comet was not sure where she should start from, but had a lot of time on her hands .Anyway before she arrives to the living part of the universe, she will have to pass through a long and deserted parts, like made for thinking and contemplation .And afterwards, the beautiful, diverse universe with endless stories and messages will be in front of her!
“If destiny allowed me to realize all of this, now she cer-tainly won’t let me down”, the comet concluded happily, and splashed with her tail that in the meantime has com-pletely recovered, and started her trip.

Yelena was stretching on her chair and closed her eyes, smiling at Jovan’s face on her eyelids.
“Once, she told him, “Once when you really learn to take and I really learn to give; when everything becomes what it really is…”
She didn’t know when that will happen, there was a lot of learning in front of them to be done. But somehow she felt that it was not important any more.
“Anyway life is so beautiful”, she thought. “And one smile is a better teacher than a well of tears.”
