Excerpt
Maggie blew a stray strawberry colored curl off her forehead and started to rub moisturizer into her skin. How her life and dreams had changed in the years since she’d seen Jack. He’d reminded her that she had wanted nothing more as a young girl than to leave Lake Meade the day after she graduated high school and never look back at the small rural town. College, the Peace Corps, she’d have done anything to get away.
That had all changed in one horrible night.
Maggie pushed the pump down on the moisturizer bottle again and started to rub her elbows. She had a life she had grown to love, didn’t she? She wouldn’t change a thing about it, and she really hadn’t thought anything was missing; she had a wonderful family, a business she enjoyed and great friends like Greg. What more could anyone ask for?
And then Jack Callahan had come back and reminded her.

Coffee Time Romance.com
Lake Meade is a good suspense romance that provides a break from the more graphic romance I usually enjoy. The lead characters are clear in their priorities and needs while the numerous background and support characters fill out the story. While the suspense is the main focus, the budding romance is a wonderful part of the plot. The community aspect of the storyline is also a major factor in how well the book reads. The dialogue matches the situation well if reminding me that I probably cuss too much. Lake Meade is an easy book to recommend and others will enjoy this suspense as well as I.

Put Lake Meade in your vacation book bag. Heather Mosko gives voice to genuine, soulful characters and baits them with an uncanny combination of plot twists. Lake Meade is stocked with all the elements of a great romantic suspense story. You’ll be totally immersed and won’t come up for air until the final chapter. I was hooked!
The Romantic Studio.com
This is a book that you will start reading and not put down until the last page. The characters are so real that you will feel like you know them and the story is gripping. I was dying to know what had happened on prom night and had to force myself not to page forward. The rekindled romance between Jack and Maggie is very nicely done and the author lets the feelings grow again between the two of them without any unnecessary drama, she leaves that for the rest of the story. She builds the tension in the plot very well, giving the reader hints, but never giving away a pretty surprising ending. The climactic scenes are very exciting and the ending very satisfying.

| Sounds like an intiquing story, Heather....I live near Lake Meade, but on the west coast near The Hoover Dam...That's what drew me here....Leave it to some long lost lover to come and shake things up, lol....I wish you all the best....Sophia |
