Do you believe in angels and spirit guides? The author of this book certainly did not, but the paranormal events she has been experiencing have gradually changed her opinion. These phenomena have also encouraged her to view life and what lies beyond it with a new perspective.
An account of how the author began receiving messages from the spirit world back in 1984. It tells how she went from totally disbelieving to eventually accepting what she was being given through automatic writing. This book also includes some of the fascinating information that has been related within these channeled messages. Such subjects as Creation, the eternal soul, the seeding of man on Earth, the Earth Changes, the predicted axis shift, the Anti-Christ and the Second Coming are examined in this narrative about angelic communication. The author does not expect others to believe everything that her Guides have expressed. Instead, she offers their teachings as an incentive for people to pursue their own journey of spiritual awareness. The Foreword to this book has been written by the Women's Spirituality writer Diane Stein.

Chapter Seven -
The Earth Changes:
According to various prophesies, life, as we know it, was destined to end around the year 2000. We are now more than half way through this proclaimed doomed year, so are we living on borrowed time? Until I became a channel for my Guides, the end of the world was one of many subjects that I viewed with intense skepticism. My reason for expressing my feelings about this particular matter is to provide an argument against the possibility of the automatic writings being the ramblings of my subconscious mind. Moon's information on the coming changes to our planet, like most of his early messages, was in total opposition to what I believed some sixteen years ago. Like other people I recognized the reality of a nuclear confrontation, but while some considered it to be the true meaning of the last book of the New Testament, i.e. The Revelation of Saint John the Divine, I did not. More recently, global warming, the holes in the ozone layer, or some other type of ecological disaster have been cited as the possible cause of the extinction of the human race. Today, I am fully aware that the threat of a grave imbalance in the ecology of our planet hangs like a sword of Damocles over our heads, but I sincerely hope that man can, and will, rise above his baser instincts before it is too late.
I have never been able to find within Revelations any words which indicate when the last judgment or Armageddon is to take place. Moon did not specify exactly when these events would happen, either, but the inference was for the early part of the twenty-first century. Even as early as August 1984, when the automatic writing was just beginning, a message referred to this future disaster:
". . . . We wish to tell those who would listen how to survive the coming upheavals. Time is getting close for terrible confusion and pain for those who have no guides in your world or ours. You, who know, must help those who do not know or understand what is happening . . ."
These words implied that I knew about this future event, which then I did not. In later months and years, Moon wrote more about what he said is coming. Now, as I reproduce this message for the reader, it would seem to be speaking to a future me or rather the me who exists at the present time. Perhaps as I write this chapter I am doing exactly what the words tell me to do? Hopefully, by sharing with others these predictions and cautions, I am also helping them understand what can possibly happen.
Later that month there was another warning:
"Darkness and chaos ahead, but we shall prevail. Our contact is secure. Read the newspapers for warnings of these events. Fire and water rule the land, but they also purge. Re-awaken your mind to the old ways, you have all the knowledge stored inside... Find peace in this day. Keep close to the truths of creation..."
Over the sixteen years that have passed since I channeled that message, there have been many terrible floodings, out-of-control forest and brush fires and devastating earthquakes in many different countries. These may possibly be the forerunners of an even greater, cataclysmic event.
Within the many messages that I channeled between August of 1984 and July of 1985, there were only two other brief references to the coming disaster. They were both contained within other subject matter:
"...Be at peace with nature now, for great changes are coming soon. You must be ready for them..."
"...More sad news in the world. Japan is the place to watch. A beautiful, old culture which has demoralized herself with modern greed and thinking. She will feel the pains of the New Beginning, as will many places..."
