This is a simple and direct guide to changing your lifestyle to a more natural and healthier version. In it you will learn how to take care of your body, your life, and your home.

Excerpt
With each procedure come more antibiotics,
causing them to lose the wonderful, beneficial bacteria required by
the human body. Harmful micro organisms love this acidic
environment and begin to crowd out our helpful bacteria,
destroying other tissues. They clamor for more sugar, more
protein, more yeast, and they don’t quiet down until we feed them.
This lasts a short while as the intestines fill with gas, and reflux
begins to burn the esophagus. This is not a pretty picture.
Then there are the prescription meds to suppress natural
processes: put out the fires of digestion with the purple pill, add
pancreatic enzymes, take a pill to force peristaltic action in the
colon, swallow laxatives which pull needed water from the cells and
tissues, leaving dehydration and inflammation behind.
-----Could asthma and emphysema be treated by destroying yeast,
molds and bacteria, restoring balance in the lungs?
-----Could digestive issues really be solved by cleaning the
intestines and toning, making simple dietary changes and drinking
more high-quality, alkaline water?
-----What about the diabetes epidemic among adults and children?
Could Dr. Young (PH Miracle) and Dr. Barody (Alkalize or Die) be
right about acidity being the cause of so many chronic diseases
such as diabetes? Will alkalizing the diet be enough to balance
insulin usage and production in a type 2 diabetic?
-----What about cholesterol and the side effects of cholesterol
lowering, statin drugs? Is the cholesterol scare in this country true,
or do we need to discern what is making the cholesterol go up and
“treat” it with fewer acids in ourdiet, B Vitamins, policosanol
(from sugar cane), Omega 3’s, and other good fats and oils?
-----Are our homes one of the sources of many of our illnesses?
Xenoestrogens, found in man-made products such as Carpet Fresh
Living Longer & Loving It!
4
and Pine Sol, flood our indoor environments and therefore our
bodies. New carpet, blinds, and polyurethane coatings exude
harmful artificial estrogens into the home air. How can we avoid
their harmful effects short of moving to the deep woods or the
desert?
Consider not only where we live and what we eat, but also
what we apply to the hair, teeth and skin. Imagine that everything
we put on our bodies is absorbed and enters the bloodstream to be
handled and eliminated by the lymph. The fluoride and sodium
laurel sulfate in toothpaste and aluminum in antiperspirants go into
the body. Doesn’t a warning not to swallow what you brush your
teeth with seem like a red flag to you?
