Young woman has a realistic nightmare about running down a long hallway to escape the ghost chasing her,then crashing through a plate glass window, falling into the swirling muddy waters far below. That nightmare proves to be a portent of terrible things to come.
"Move," she whispered, her voice high-pitched and shrill as she put her hands tightly on my waist, propelling me with surprising speed into the next room. "Quickly!" Feeling my heart skip a beat, I stiffened. "Something's up there, isn't it?" Emily nodded, her curls bobbing against my head as she leaned closer to me, pushing me further into the dark, empy room. "It's not human, is it?" She shook her head, facing me with a worried look. "It's a ghost, right?" She nodded. "But more than just one, Jessica. There are several of them, judging from the amount of energy from up there. And one of them in particular is very interested in your life force.
