Twelve year old Willy, never knew what it felt like to need or want a pair of shoes, a new pair of jeans or a special toy or game. He was born a billionaire. He had every physical thing that he wanted or needed.
Willy loved being rich, he believed that money was the most important thing in life. Willy had a few close friends whom he loved and who loved him. However, Willy cherished his money. Money meant more to him than his friends.
Willy had an older sister, her name was Allison, he had a lovely mom and a billionaire dad, they loved him unconditional. Willy had a cook that prepared is meals and special snacks; a maid to clean his room and a driver to drive him to and from school and any place that he wanted to go.
Willy and Allison’s best friends were from middle class families. They were used to cleaning their own rooms, helping their mom prepare meals and depended on their parents or public transportation to get them to and from school. Only a few of Willy’s friends had their own used cars.
Willy, unlike his big sister, believed that money was the most important thing in life. He believed money could buy anything, even friends and happiness.
One day, Willy’s big sister, Allison, left him alone in her car, to listen to the radio; while she went inside her friends house, for ten minutes, to deliver a Christmas present, for their six year old sister, Candy.
Allison had no idea that Willy had been secretly practicing how to drive. When Willy was home alone; he would drive the family’s extra car in and out of the driveway. This was Willy’s secret; no one knew that he could drive an automobile.
One day Tammy left Willy alone in her car while she went inside her friends house to deliver a Christmas present to their six year old sister, Candy. Willy decided to go for a short drive, then, he would park the car back in the exact same spot and Allison would never know that he moved her car. So, Willy took the car for a drive around the block. When Willy returned from his joy ride, he didn’t see 15 year old, Tammy, as she was crossing the street.
BOOM! Willy hit Tammy with the automobile. Willy was so scared. He didn’t know what to do after he realized that he struck his best friend with his sister’s car. Willy fell to his knees next to Tammy. His screams could be heard a block away.
