TRUELIGHT

The Harrow fair has continued uninterupted for 149 years. Children and adults love it as it has animals, crafts, plants, horse shows and music at night,

Below are two verses from this rhyming book which was updated in 2004 for the 150th Fair.

If I could go to the Harrow Fair,
I know what I'd see when I get there.
I'd see sheep and cows in from the farm
And a lazy pig being prodded out of the barn.

If I could go to the Harrow Fair,
I know what  I'd lift when I get there
.                                             I'd lift a huge Pumpkin if I had a chance.                                            I think I could do it without ripping my pants!

A Useful Book about an Old Fair
This updated version of the Harrow Fair book includes a history of the Fair and two pages on the first fair and the one in 1901 if we 'could have gone' to it then. Yolanda's illustrations arewell done and show a real feel for the fair.
