The body, like an old oak tree with rings, has its own rings of the years, evidence of a hard life, a long life;

The soul, a wishing well, very deep with some wishes granted, some not meant to be;

The person, unique, almost a mythological character, but real - the person who is intriguing, shy and a loner, yet is always there;

What happens when ten poets sit around a forum chatting?

Well this is exactly how this book came about. The poets of www.poetrybox.com all met each other on the forum and within a year or so developed a united international relationship with each other, which led to them joining their work together. And so the Poetic Justice book was born.

"What makes this book so special?", I hear you say. What makes it so special, is that people from different walks of life living in different lands and speaking different languages have been united through one thing. The love of writing and expression through their poetry.

The great writers of the past were no different from today's writers. Technology may have changed vastly from the humble quill pen and Indian ink, but feelings and beliefs are still the same now as they were hundreds of years ago.

Through this amalgamation of poetry, you will find humour, sadness, serenity, solitude and liberation of the mind. How you the reader perceive the written word is made up of your own feelings and emotions. The poets have only facilitated in bringing these sensitivities to the forefront of your own mind.
