FOREWORD by poetess Cynth'ya Reed
plus----POETRY, WORDS OF WISDOM, AND SECRETS OF CREATION....
PORTIONS from this book:
the universe is vast and wide
it has no beginning marked
and no ending charted
each tiny atom is built
much like a spiral
and each galaxy likewise cycles
all in the universe
are connected in oneness
and goes on & on & on----endless
there are 3 sure facts of life
birth, death and infinity
strife is a product of humanity
every religion teaches the word
of unity and what is right
but most people prefer to fight
love makes the world go 'round
it make our hearts pound
love is the central bond
~by Melvia Miller
Also included in this delightful collection are many "SECRETS"--- such as the following......
SECRETS OF THE PYRAMIDS....
What purpose did these massive structures serve? Why were they scattered across the desert in a seemingly random pattern? The pyramid mystery deepened in 1993 when Rudolf Gantenbrink discovered a secret door in the Great Pyramid -- a door unopened for 4,500 years. Robert Bauval and Adrian Gilbert have uncovered for the first time the key to the plan that governed the construction of the pyramids.
"Thanks to the wonderful, brave people like Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Min. Malcolm X, Angela Davis and all the other outstanding Civil Rights leaders who have helped to change Amerikkka for the better--- I no longer have to sit in the back of the bus---at least not by law or by force---as I once did as a young girl growing up Black. But I often feel that the serious racial and social problems continue to exist to the the point that I am still sitting in the back of the bus making observations of a society that needs healing."
~ A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR (Melvia Miller)
"All Folks Were Created Equal" ...(views from the back of the bus) ----by Melvia Miller
"What Melvia does, she does very well. Her books so creatively shows all aspects of humanity in the warmest, most thought-provoking ways. People really need her books for black history month. We are more than a national "melting pot." We are all individually "color'd." Not by skin or hair shade, but by experiences that create a magnificant palette of the concept of our personal freedoms, our divinely revealed truths."
~By Cynthya Reed (author)
Better now or then?---
I was talking with my Mother who is the author. I told her that the title of her book is very STRIKING---because even though Blacks are not forced to sit in the back of the bus nowadays--- I think we are worse off than when she was my age. I say that because people of all colors are suffering in a lot of ways--- sickness, bad economy, street drugs, poor education, and terrorism....all things that she did not have to face when she was my age. So--- back in the 1950's and 1960's there was racial segregation--but in the 21st century we are on the verge of mass destruction of the human race. We get "lynched" by corrupt corporations and crooked insurance companies. Religious fanatics have taken over where the KKK left off.
We can watch this madness all from any seat on the bus.
~ Mikal A. Price
(football player and film writer)
I am a White person--- originally from Germany. Many White Americans have made foul jokes at me re: Hitler killing the Jews. But then I always ask them how they can say anything, since the history of White Americans is filled with them lynching, harassing and killing the Negroes. I never get an answer to that.
Now we hear how the CIA bungled their "spying" on Iraq.... the Americans have been involved in some dirty politics themselves...
We are still in slavery in the USA. We are in "mental slavery" here. This author MELVIA MILLER has a unique way of illustrating a lot of the hypocrisy about "American freedom" too---and she speaks a lot of truth from point of view of her experiences growing up Black. Miller's books are all enjoyable to read, provocative, and outstanding!!
