Cynth'ya Lewis Reed Pieces & other color'd quiltations. . . the Abbeville edition
Note: Since my husband's cancer surgery 4/25/05, this book content has been integrated into the public speaking content for audiences interested in a sassy approach to personal and/or community awareness events. Another chapbook on intimate love poetry will be forthcoming in October 2005. Proceeds from this, and her current book "Pieces and other color'd quiltations" will assist Cynth'ya in obtaining 10 ISBN numbers so she can self publish, and hopefully help others publish chapbooks under the name "Sassy Unlimited Publications."
STOP & RE-THINK YOUR THINKING. . .
Coming SPRING 2005 Cynth'ya Lewis Reed's companion guidebook that is used in her workshop, "21 Mantras to Edu-lighten Your Cultural Mind" .
A direct hit of a personal development experience. Guaranteed to grasp your thinking and stretch it in a whole new direction.
A book used as part of a personal diversity development woman's workshop (where men are welcome!), admonishing us to never take the obvious for granted.
This guide will be an inspirational, entertaining composite of 21 less conventional, often controversial--twists; a perpetual page-turning talk with yourself addressing the habits of your mind. Makes you laugh, makes you cry, or make you want to wonder why you haven't choked somebody. Strictly a journey designed for people who are brave enough to read between the lines, and who don't mind going there.
"Why the number 21"? Because by age 21 WE ALL SHOULD BE FREE OF FEAR WHEN SPEAKING OUR MINDS.. When is the last time you felt that way?
Note: This four-hour workshop can also be modified as a keynote presentation.)

The Mundane Topic # 9ine: Real Estate
A thing based on an icon that western civilization calls "worth." Worth is one of those things that does not always mean what the price tag reads. Worth depends on the time, place, and resulting benefit or punishment of holding on to the person, place or thing worth having.
The Poetic Mantra:
Gotta always keep your life in reality-check, just in case your enemies attempting to railroad your worth.

Preface: What is "Free Speech"?
To be free is to be constrained by one's personal wishes, not imposing them on others who do not share our views. To have speech is to be able to communicate, and demands the respect to be heard by those who may not agree with us.
But unless we investigate the limitations of what it means to "speak freely" then we risk placing ourselves in a most gullible position. It can mean we can be taken advantage of with a smile, a handshake, a promise, all under the guise of what is good for us, the nation, the family.
One thing I learned in Sunday School was this: One may be right, one may be wrong, and both may be wrong. But both parties can never be right if the signs all point in the wrong direction.
Free Speech is something that cannot be constrained when it fights to show itself as worthy of th attention it deserves. Every individual must earn the right to be respected if they expect to have the right to be heard.
When people learn to decipher the hidden codes of image vs. illusion, then as free people, we will be able live our purpose, as God intended.
