Bear Me On Angels' Wings is a trilogy, the stories of three women, who go through terrible struggles, but find God is ultimately more than faithful.
Author Speaker Nancy Arant Williams
Part One- Compelling Reasons:
Where was Kyle? Why hadn't he bounded in the door and smiled, hugged her and kissed her soundly--the way he did every night of his life?
Thinking back to the morning, she reviewed their conversation, trying to recall whether he had mentioned having plans for this evening. The calendar had nothing penciled into today's space.
She blew out a breath and said, "Help me, Lord...Something is wrong."
As if in answer to her prayer, the doorbell sounded. She was puzzled. Kyle had a key. Why would he need to ring the bell? Then she knew deep in the pit of her stomach, it wasn't Kyle.
Part Two--Beauty for Ashes:
At midnight, Katie woke after tossing sd turning, subconsciously knowing Keith wasn't there, and went looking for him. He lay in his recliner, suspiciously still. She shook him, calling his name, but he didn't move or respond. She felt for his pulse, but there was none.
"Dear God, how is it CPR is done again?" She was a retired RN, but hadn't worked since the children were small. Even back then, she had never had to use CPR, and especially not on someone she adored.
She tipped his head back adn pinched his nostrils. Okay, girl. It's now or never.
Part Three--Bluebells in Winter:
Regan frowned. "Why all the cloak and dagger, Jase?"
"Don't ask. I'll tell you later. "Suddenly he stiffened as she turned the door handle.
She blurted, "Get a grip, Jase. You're not going to the gas chamber, you know."
He blanched and laughed nervously, looking terrified.
"Jase, you're scaring me. I can tell by the look on your face that something is really wrong. Now tell me what it is."
He shoved a key into her hand and closed it with a death grip. "I'll tell you this. If I don't make it to our meeting at Barney's for some reason, use this key to get into the secret room behind my firepalce and retrieve the records. But be careful."
She grinned. "You're teasing me, right?"
"I'm dead serious," he said, his blue-eyed gaze granite.
Eileen Key-Review for Bear Me on Angels' Wings
"Nancy Arant Williams' three stories grab a reader in the heart. Williams has woven her stories realistically and sprinkled them with scripture revealing God's truths. Williams writes, "God is able to make something beautiful from pain, if we can own it, then let Him heal it. I think Nancy is right on target."
Debra Ullrick--Review for Bear Me on Angels' Wings
"Compelling Reasons is a riveting story, with a delightful twist that you absolutely won't want to miss. Beauty for Ashes shows God's great grace, as He takes a devastating situation, and turns it around for his glory and for Katie and Rand's ultimate good. Bluebells in Winter kept me up past midnight. I couldn't put the story down, and neither will you. The characters are wonderful and the storyline intriguing."
Mary Connealy-Review for Bear Me on Angels' Wings
"If something terrible happened, would your faith sustain you? In her book, Compelling Reasons, Nancy Arant Williams jerks Britt out of her simple, peaceful life and plunges her into danger. Williams creates such a perfect Everywoman in Britt that the reader can't help but think, 'If it happened to me, could I rise to the challenge?" A fun, fast read.
Beauty for Ashes: With insight that made me wonder if she'd lived through a personal tragedy, Williams tackles the difficult subject of death and its aftermath, taking the reader through a long dark tunnel to find, with the guiding light of God, that there is still joy in life for the one left behind.
I loved Bluebells in Winter. Nancy Arant Williams does a wonderful job of taking an innocent bystander and plunging her into danger. She writers her heroine, Regan in a way that makes Bluebells in Winter so compelling. This is an intimate, honest portrait of a modern damsel in distress."
