This book has been in progress for five years now, and I got most of my inspiration from my mother.
Although her untimely death has led to many beautiful poems, I felt that I wanted to share them with
others. There are many of them scattered about throughout the book along with many that my children
have inspired, some even by nature. Anything that you can imagine is possible, and through writing, I
feel as though I am sharing an unseen part of my world with others. All of the poems that are within
these pages, help bring to life the memories of time past, and of the present...some of the future. Many
of them I have written are about angels and fairies, of trees blowing with the wind, to the flower beds
that are in my own gardens, but none the less they are from my heart. I hope that you enjoy reading
them as much as I have enjoyed writing them. May they remind you of what is most important to you
and may they bring back as many memories for you as they have for me

A Phone In Heaven
I wish there were a phone in Heaven
Just so I could call and say,
I've done it Mom
I'm finally on my way.
They finally see the talent
That you have always seen
But I never thought that I would see
Just how right you've always been.
You always said my day would come
When I would make my mark
And it would be a joy to see me
Emerging from the dark.
I wish there were a phone in Heaven
so I could call and say
Thanks so much, I love you Mom
For helping make my way.

The poems were a small part of all of those things that should have been said, but were not, many of them just came to me and they needed to be written.
As you can see, the book of poetry is dedicated mainly to my parents, a lot of the poems in the first part of the book are to my Mother, I wanted to find a way to immortalize her and of the wonderful things that she passed on to me. This book has been in the works for five years now and it ended with the death of my Grandmother...it was the poem for her that was the last. I will continue to write poetry and children’s books because it is part of who I am and a big part of
