Maggie and Kate are going to kindergarten. Kate is nervous. Can Maggie help Kate? Will they become friends? Read this book to discover how understanding and caring leads to friendship.

"On the first day of school, Maggie and Kate met on the playground. Kate looked a lot like Maggie but something about her seemed different. Maggie could see a familiar sadness in Kate's big, brown eyes."

Enjoyed the read. This is a book I would use in my own Kindergarten or First Grade classroom. I am happy to recommend the book for the home pleasure library, school library and for home schoolers as well as for therapists working with young children who cannot always realize or relate what it is they are feeling.
