Highlights: Moneyed Science: Bad Medicine?
The mapping of the human body's 100,000 genes by the Human Genome Project and its private-sector equivalents will lead to insurance companies purchasing information from new tests that determine from birth the future health of all its insured, resulting in genetic discrimination against millions of citizens.
Organized Organ Theft
The sale of human organs is already a thriving business in a number of countries. But organ theft is on the rise with businesses kidnapping and killing the poor of third world countries such as Guatemala and
state-sponsored organ theft and sale from countries such as China. Are cultural, racial and other factors against organ donation creating a sinister market for human body parts? Would the public be shocked to discover removing a kidney from a drugged victim takes approx. 20 minutes by a thief with a few days of training?
An Ethical Circus: Send in the Clones
Cloning of mammals-yesterday's science fiction, today's science fact. The cloning of humanity is but a few steps away. A privately funded scientist is currently seeking to clone himself. Japanese scientists
believe human clones would make perfect vessels for body parts
for the sick and aged. Should human cloning be banned completely? What of the ethical, moral, political ramifications of this brave new scientific discovery? Is this master race technology in the making? Could a government breed the "perfect army of soldiers" from clones?
Would clones have souls? Would clones be a class of 21st century slaves? Could a clone replace a political leader and plunge a region into war? Such questions few have asked. The moratorium of US Government funding of human cloning research ends in 2001 with no sign of a law
banning all research-private or public. Is the glory of God-given
uniqueness about to be cloned right out of existence?
The dictatorship established in Brave New World is uniquely original in the annals of politically-inspired fiction. The average thinker assumes fascism must punish and deprive in order to successfully control its population. It's a far wager that Huxley understood this and sought to create a new fascism that stripped humanity of its freedom by allowing it to induldge in formerly forbidden vices.

The day the Atomic Bomb fell on Hiroshima signaled the power of Man to destroy the world. Previously this power was held only by acts of God. The day scientists could clone a mammal signaled the power of Man to create himself in his own image. Through technological advancements Man has become God.
Does this frighten you? It should. Mankind has consistently proven itself to be violent, intolerant and shortsighted---and that was just with conventional and nuclear weapons! Now Mankind can call up scientific/technological weapons a thousands times more intrusive and destructive to humanity.
This omen sums up THE INTRUDER BULLETINS: THE DARK SIDE OF TECHNOLOGY by Mark Antony Rossi. We are permitting science and technology to gradually enslave and destroy us. The technological leaps and bounds are not being studied for ethical consequences. The results may be rogue countries manufacturing cloned assassins or soldiers for future wars. Factories dotting secret islands harvesting organs from kidnapped children. Our minds numb and tired from wheel-baron quantities of anti-depressants pushed more efficiently than any illegal street substance.
To his credit Mr. Rossi also includes a provocative chapter that makes recommendations for solutions to the coming disasters outlined in the book. I was very impressed with the amount of research sources and books used to base these observations. The Intruder Bulletins is an important timely warning to all us of the price of so-called progress and
our lack of vigilance when considering the next generation of machines and scientific discoveries.
Read it like tomorrow's news or use it like a guide to survive the stupidity of technological genius. However you decide to approach the warnings and predictions---keep your mind open. For it is the one and only thing that will save us from a future of scientific slave masters.

Reader Reviews for "The Intruder Bulletins: The Dark Side of Technology"
|Reviewed by Victoria Murray
|A MUST READ! My one word response, "WOW!"
|This book is incredibly ahead of its time. Sorry to say few people will listen to its warning cries. We do not learn from history and prophets are the first to be stoned to death by the ignorant masses.
We are doomed mainly because we are stupid enough to trade some of our liberty for some cheap version of security that cannot really be guarantees. The only guarantees in life are usually negative ones.
If you want a world where human clones fight your wars until they are then aimed at your comfortable existence, don't read this book. Let it all happen. Chances are you deserve the horror that awaits you.
