"So, You Have A New Puppy! was written by Stacy Mantle, winner of the Cat Writers' Association Certificate of Excellence Award 2004, for the companion book, "So You Have A New Kitten!". Stacy's writing combines humor with important information in an entertaining style that children both enjoy and understand.
Stacy is also known for her humorous and touching book, "Conquering the Food Chain: Living Amongst Animals (Without Becoming One)", as well as her regular monthly pet product review column, On the Prowl for The Cat Site, and more recently for her regular column, Kids and Pets for Jackson Parent Magazine, in Tennessee.
In 2003, Stacy teamed up with accomplished artist and illustrator, Jill C. Carpenter, to begin production of their own line of Childrens Educational, Learning and Activity Books. Together, their creativity and humor is boundless. With 5 new books currently in production, they are looking forward to a great New Year!
