Re: Children Book Reading
Dear Bill:
Thank you so much for the book reading you did for our after school program in Concord. The children especially enjoyed trying to guess the answers to your bug riddles!
It was very nice of you to dedicate your time in reading to our non-profit organization. The kids were thrilled with the complimentary copy of your book that they received from you.
Thanks again for your support of our program and best of luck to you in pursuing your career as a children book author.
Regards,
Lori DePole

If you want to spend some quality time with your kids, you need to do something that’s fun and constructive for both of you. Coloring books are a great place to start. Or easy-to-read rhymes that your kids can enjoy and improve their language skills with.
William Sawyers has taken it a step further with ‘What am I? Bugs’. He has combined fun rhymes with great artwork to create a coloring book with a difference. Each rhyme gives clues about what kind of bug is waiting on the next page… and then there it is!
Along with a full-color picture of the bug (they’re all really friendly-looking with big eyes and smiles); there are two for coloring-in. One of them is as you’d expect, the other has some bits erased and kids are invited to ‘finish the picture’. Not only do they get to do some coloring, but they also get to do some drawing as well, which will give them a real sense of achievement.
If you like to see children enjoying learning, you’ll love ‘What am I? Bugs

"What Am I? Bugs" by William Sawyers. I purchased this book through Lulu.com as an e-book download. This is a book of riddles about bugs for ages 5 and up. This book really gets children to think about which bug is being described. The pictures are adorable, plus after every bug picture there is a page where you can color that bug and another picture that allows you to finish drawing the bug. An example of a riddle: "I'm a neat bug to see at night. And I just love to fly. I was told if you put me in a jar I could help you see afar." What am I? Answer: a firefly. A great interactive book for children!
