Hello, my name is Walee, and I will be your host this evening. I see that you have noticed the Wonderful World of Walee Special. It is discriminately offered to our most valued clients. What is it? Quite frankly, it is ME. ALL of me. ALL that you can nibble. ALL that you can lick. ALL that you can take in. ALL that you can choke on. ALL that you can swallow. It is the joie de vivre. it is the raison d'etre. It is simply the most intense literary orgasm you will ever experience.
Tonight’s the night for…
knowing what’s what
an obvious glare
catches eyes wide shut
teeth are being licked
legs are being uncrossed
somebody’s getting dicked
and a salad will be tossed
a dance to the pendulum beat
tensions about to be released
an unraveling of the conundrum heat
and sexual indiscretions will not be policed
a slip of the tongue
a slip of the lips
a tug at the hung
a tug at the hips
the thrill of the anticipation
heritage from Mesopotamia
the anxiety of an oral accommodation
hoping the nut tastes like macadamia
a tender twist of the mustachio
a gentle caress of a swollen breast
a bathroom nibble on the pistachio
a whole lot of swallowing of what comes next
puffs and pants
and huffs and chants
an explosive jet stream arrives
gargling and choking
and pressure releasing stroking
knock, knock, knock…oops, here comes a surprise
a patron enters as we readjust our clothes
and gives us a disapproving look
I pick out my fro as she powders her nose
we confirm tomorrow in our appointment book
Tonight’s the night for…

Bring Your Appetite
"What's on the Menu?" is the second offering from Walee. Having read his first book, "Confession is Good for the Soul", I see that this New Jersey poet has stepped up his game, bringing us a smorgasbord of literary nuggets without sacrificing his edginess. Take note, this collection, much like the first, is not for the faint at heart. Walee holds no punches as he lifts the lid on his literary concoction so we might sample to our hearts content.
This collection, which consists of 26 pieces in the categories of "Appetizers", `Main Course", "Desserts", and "After-Dinner Drinks", has a little something for everybody and for those whose appetites are, shall we say "healthier" than others, you won't go away disappointed.
Walee takes the reader on a spicy ride from one end of his literary buffet to the other. From the clever take on the "Miranda Warning" (an erotic take on the power of the tongue), to the sassy playfulness of "Jackie's Jook Joint", to the homage to Mother Rosa Parks. From the rarely uttered truth of "My Pride and Joy" to the surprise ending of "How Could You", to the heartfelt tribute in "The Love We Had Stays on My Mind". As I read "I've Loved You for a Long Time", I hear the Isley Brothers singing the question that's sure to be on the minds of all his readers - "Who's that Lady?"
Perhaps Walee will share that morsel with us in his next offering. Inquiring minds want to know...
