This high concept novel boldly addresses life's do's and don'ts as one struggles to make transition from being a child to becoming an adult. Lisa and Marie, 16 year old lifelong best frinds, have shared most first events in their lives.
However, it's just before their Junior Prom and there's a sharp division between them regarding when and how they should become sexually active.
Marie is convinced Junior Prom night is the right time. Lisa's set on abstinence until marriage for them as they both have pledged.
Alone in Lisa's room, they engage in a hot discussion revealing of every facet of the universal decision of when and how the invisible line separating the child from the woman or man is crossed. They speak openly and honestly about their hopes, fears and desires for love and happiness.
The work traces the events of two weeks leading to the Prom. It contains a variety of lovable, memorable characters with an array of personalities. Almost any reader should be able to identify with these robust persons with a variety of situations with which each is dealing. Nearly every issue faced at that crucial time in young lives is addressed.
The battle between good and evil, innocence and losing such reigns throughout. It presents a thorough analysis of solving conflicts between body, mind and spirit.
