During their shopping spree for a tall, dark, handsome, single and legit brotha, four friends come into contact with so many men that other females have thrown out right along with yesterday's garbage! Sex, lies, cheating, deceit and famous baby mama drama are just a handful of events that unfold in this novel as these four friends continue in their search for Mr. Right!

Excerpt from Chapter 1 (Mena)
I was bored and tired. I'd been off of work for three hours and I still didn't have any plans. What the hell? I was twenty-two and today was payday so I should've had plans but I didn't.

My homegirl, Tamesa, had a date tonight with one of her many men. My other homegirl, Kendall, was kickin' it with her fat ass friend, Treasure. I could've been hanging out with them but Treasure was like a sour taste in my mouth and I only put up with her when necessary and tonight wasn't particularly necessary.

Now, normall, I'd be getting ready for a sexy night with my man. I'd be picking out my most seductive, kinkiest lingerie and preparing strawberries and whip cream along with a glass of Alize. I'd have my lights dimmed throughout the whole condo and vanilla bean scented candles lit. I'd also have the condoms waiting by the bed along with my Kama Sutra massage oil and ooooh! Let me stop before I got way ahead of myself and started thinking of ex lovers that I could call up.

Anyways, all that would be going down, or shall I say WILL be going down in about another four months. My man is out to sea. Yep, my lover slash future baby's father is in the navy. Tyler's my heart right now and I can't believe we've been together for eight months now. We'll be celebrating our one year anniversary when he gets back. I can't believe it because this has been my longest relationship so far and I'm excited and eager as to see where it goes.

BUT...I never even thought that I, Mena Danielle Hundley, would wind up at a funky, ghetto ass club and meet my prince charming, Tyler Isaiah Gale.

I was looking too good that night standing at 5'6 with my dark brown skin glowing. I was wearing tight, dark denim capris that were rolled up at the end, a white V neck wife beater that was definitely complimenting my 36C's and denim and white stilettos that everyone was giving me props on.

Tyler looked good himself. No, I take that back. The brotha was looking fine. Fine enough to eat and lick the plate if I can put it like that. Tyler was standing tall, the way I like 'em. Around 6'4 with smooth, caramel colored skin. His eyes were sort of a medium brown. Not too dark and not too light but beautiful all the same. His hair was cut close with nice waves and his body was in top condition. Tyler also had the most attractive looking lips, crazy as that might sound but they were medium sized and most definitely kissable.

The one thing that got me the most about my boo that night was how he was standing on the opposite side of the over crowded club, posted across the dingy off whtie wall, wearing baggy blue jeans and a white wife beater, staring at me. Tamesa and Kendall were with me that night and Tamesa swore up and down that Tyler had been looking at her but I beg to differ. I knew that he was staring at me when my eyes locked with his. Next thing I knew, Tyler licked his lips, came over to me and the rest is history. I didn't dance with anyone else that whole night. It was just Tyler and I as if we were the only two people in the club.

Even when the night ended, we didn't want to separate so Tyler followed me back to my condo where we kicked it until about five o'clock in the morning. The only reason he left was because he had duty on the ship but we've been inseparable ever since. We learned so much about each other that night as we sat out on m balcony in lounge chairs, talking and eating popsicles. Seriously, it was like we were sould mates just finding each other.

I couldn't hlep but to smile to myself as I reminisced. I really missed m boo and I would've killed to have him call me right now. At that exact moment, my cell started ringing, playing a new rap song. Excited, I answered without even looking at the caller ID, just KNOWING that it was my boo.

I was immediately cut off by my homegirl, Tamesa's, loud and irritated voice.

"Mena, come GET me!" she ordered angrily.

"Whaaa? Huh? Tamesa, girl, what's wrong? Aren't you on a date?"

"Giiirl, why this nigga straight trippin'? I KNEW shit was too damn good to be true when he pulled up in that Expedition with twenties. When he got out to get gas, I was looking through his glove compartment tryna be nosey and the registration fell out. I looked at the name and it said Jameel."

"AND?" I asked, trying hard to hold back laughter from the way Tamesa was rambling non-stop.

"AND?" Tamesa repeated like I was dumb. "AND? Girl, his name's CALVIN, not JAMEEL! That ain't his fuckin' truck! Now we at Red Lobster and just ate up forty dollars worth of food and this yella motherfucker gonna look at the ticket and be like, 'Oh shit, girl, I left my wallet at home.' "

I couldn't help it but at that point I busted out laughing. Not only was the story unbelievably funny but my girl's voice impersonation of a man was hilarious!

"What, Mena? You think this is some kind of joke? Girl, I ain't paying for a DAYUM thang and oh my GOSH, that's my word!"

I calmed down from laughing long enough to ask Tamesa where she was at. Tamesa sighed heavily and I just knew that she was rolling her eyes and pulling on her left earlobe, a bad habit of hers that I hated.

"In the restroom, girl," she replied. "I'm 'bout to smoke up in this bitch. THAT'S how fucking mad I am right now. This nigga tryna straight PLAY me. He 'BET not call me NO more! I don't even wanna walk back out there past our waitress. I am sooo freakin' embarrassed! you gon' come get me, girl?"

I nodded, although Tamesa couldn't see me. "Yeah, girl, I'm on my way. Be outside."

The next thing I knew, I was listening to silence. I guess Tamesa was serious and on he way out of the restaurant. I quickly changed out of my work clothes, threw on some jeans and a hoodie, grabbed the keys to my Sunfire and was on my way to rescue my girl.

Hopefully that was enough to spark your interest. If you liked that little snippet of chapter 1 then you will be LOVING the rest!
