Fantana asked him to take a seat. Under normal circumstances Walker would have told her to leave. He was not used to being told what to do but he was curious to know what was on her mind. Why are you here? She said in a blunt voice. Walker was puzzled by the question. What do you mean, he asked? Fantana seemed slightly irritated. Many of my comrades have taken great risk to warn you and your people of the impending doom of your planet. Our people warned you, the Asian seer warned you, you were warned by messages in the circles and yet here you sit. Why? Fantana did not wait for an answer. She continued to chastise the President. You were warned not to trust the Otarians and you along with the others have fallen pretty to their trap. Walker poured himself a drink. Now he was the one starring back at Fantana. Who are you he asked? I know you are not some flunky. Fantana leaped from her seat and threw her hands up in disgust. What does it matter? It is clear from your presence that you do not believe what we have been telling you. Why continue? Walker felt like a kid being scolded by his mother. Because I need proof! He shot back. I cannot reveal what I know without exposing the Lazarions. Fantana took a few deep breaths and regained her composure. Okay fine, she said. Rotart cannot take you to the planet Otar. His home world is on the brink of collapse. It is overcrowded and close to running out of natural resources. In short it is a real mess. There is growing talk on the streets of anarchy. He is very desperate and that my naïve friend makes him very dangerous. My sources tell me that we are headed to Lazon. Roatart is very crafty he knows that the time of the Triple B is rapidly approaching. What’s that? asked Walker. Lazon is about to celebrate the Festival of Life. It is the equivalent to your New Years. During this time, the planet Lazon is open to outsiders. BBB means no border, barricades, or boundaries until the end of the celebration of Life. Rotart would not dare show his face. It would alert the Lazarians to his devious plan. He will probably leave this ship and send Omar as his replacement. The clothes you were given upon your arrival here were also part of his plan. They were designed to help your people blend in.
