Living quietly as a social outcast, stunningly beautiful Violet Durbin constantly fends of illicit propositions from society men. Then one day, fate puts her in the path of the haughty Duke of Hawkinston when the duke tries to prevent his nephew from becomming involved with her, and falls in love with her himself. While the duke begins a relentless pursuit to convince Violet to become his mistress, his sister's stepson, Lord Cade Souten, has developed a dangerous obession over Violet and swears she will become his by whatever means...
He got nearer, much nearer, and she looked up startled for his muscled legs were suddenly weighing heavily and pressing against her legs in a most disburbing manner. She felt unable to move away from him, fascinated by the nearness and maleness of him. He took her chin in his right hand, dropped the staff to the side and put his left arm on her back, pulling her closer to him. Violet felt his lips on hers and she felt a sudden feeling of floating and immense pleasure shoot throughout her body. His hand on her back pressed her closer so that their bodies were now meshed dangerously. With no inches between them Violet now felt Hawkinston's chest pressing against her and she felt for a moment that this was what heaven was made of. For a while Violet gave in to the sheer ecstasy she was engulfed in. There was nothing that had ever happened to her that could compare to these moments. She loved him--that was the difference. HISTORICAL ROMANCE WRITERS-Marilyn Rondeau, RIO REVIEWER
For all the Regency Romance lovers out there, here is a book you do not want to miss. Having had the opportunity to read and review several of this author's prior novels I was most anxious to read her latest. What I've come to expect is a well researched and thoroughly entertaining read, and in that I was not disappointed.
Bottom line, I found KNOWN TO ALL a very compelling and thoughtful read that was for me a breath of fresh air. It's original and creative plot with exceptionally intelligent dialogues kept me glued to thepages from beginning to end - a marvelous read I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.

singletitles.com-Debby Guyette, RIO REVIEWER
Known to All had several plots going on. There were many side characters who contributed their own motives and actions to the plot. Gloria Gay did a masterful job weaving them all together. Violet is a many faceted character, strong, resilient and brave. Hawk was the typical nobleman, sure of himself and sure that all his demands would be met. Violet forced him to rethink his position on many things. Gloria Gay’s talent as a writer will shine through as the reader devours Known to All, an A+ story.
