The very things that we endure throughout our lives account for who we are…

Niesha and Kareem grew up in an environment full of empty promises and false hope. From early on they were both subjected to mental and physical abuse at the hands of the ones they loved the most.

Scorned depicts the lives of two individuals who struggle to overcome the harsh realities of their past. When the issues in their lives ultimately bring them to a point of despair they are forced to do the unthinkable.

When life offers us a raw deal we’re usually given an option to choose but what happens when neither one of your choices seems right?

Scorned is a novel full of pain, anger, resentment and guilt. This ultimate page turner without a doubt will invite you inside the minds and lives of each characters cruel reality as they journey to find peace.

Breathing heavily my lungs felt as though they were about to explode. I had never run this fast in my life. My heart pounded vigourously as the anxiety of what was about to take place overwhelmed me. It was all their fault every last one of  those bastards born with that y chromosome between their legs. "Why me what did I ever do to deserve this?" God's wrath continued to persecute me as the heavy rain struck me unmercifully in the face. Although these bastards remained in heavy pursuit I was determined not to surrender. The pain was unbearable I could never live with what I had done. As the burning sensation trickled through my body my conscious gave way to the inevitable. It would only be a matter of moments before I was captured. The beast were closing in on me sounding like a stamped of horses running wild and relentless.

"Freeze or I'll shoot."

"Shoot you fucks, I dont give a shit." I thought to myself.

"Blah! I felt something pierce through my right leg. It was though someone had struck me with an object that had been submerged in lava. Struggling I continued running. "Fuck you bastards," I mumbled grtting my teeth. The rain began to fall heavily as the fog thickened. Stumbling I felt my legs beginning to give out on me as the pain intensified. "Freeze I dont want to have to kill you." The enemy shouted. I didn't care. I had nothing worth living for. Blah! Blah! The powerful impact severed my shoulder spinning me around. Grasping the 45 caliber I squeezed the trigger before plummeting towards the ground. Determined to take as many of those bastards with me as possible. I lied motionless on the ground, watching scornfully, as the mob steadily approached me with their guns drawn...
