Having been written by Jerry "Pop" Bishop and Dr. Gail Bishop Dugger, Peter the Pelican is Steve Robertson’s first totally illustrated children’s book done for other authors. His excellent colorful pen and ink and colored pencil illustrations grace each facing page. Certainly, everyone will love to have a copy on the coffee table or in the collection. The story is based on a true relationship between a gentleman, "Pop", who lives in Georgia, and a pelican that he has befriended. It contains an excellent moral lesson for youngsters and the drawings are elegant. It is truly a book everyone would enjoy having in their collection.
