Each section, has a different feel.
Some are beautiful memories, of the seasons, others are memories of things from my youth, such as baseball games, skating dances, and long walks in the forest and hills!
Others, are darker-emotional views, from the hard times in life.
Then there are inspirational ones like the when you know that there is someone, "watching over you". There are also some whimsical ones, like, "Why", or "Children Dream-Parents Wish"....the things that children wish for, and the things that parents hope for. There are many to read, each one a journey.

Excerpt

Someday, people will be free from all diseases...someday.
Someday, we will all be able to walk down any street in this world, and have not a worry about being safe....Someday.

Reader Reviews for "Open Window"

Reviewed by Jacqueline Rankine-Van Wassenhoven 9/22/2007
I have just finished reading j.k.gravett's new book entitled, "Open Window "
Her book is full of passion, heart-break, warmth, deep rooted soul emotions.
I read it in one day, could not put this book down!
A lot of the pages that I read I felt the same emotions.
I am sure that when everyone reads her book, that they will also feel the same way about it as I did.
All her descriptions, feelings, heart, hurt, you can feel in this book.
Ms Gravett is truley an old soul, with the eyes of a child.
I would highly recommend this book for all to buy.
