Never burn your bridges because you might have to go back across them one day. In other words, donít dis people who have showed you they got your back.

Quit tripping about material stuff you donít have or your folks canít or wonít buy you. How many pairs of gym shoes do you need to feel good about yourself? There are some boys in the world with no shoes and even some with no feet, so thank God for what you have.

The ONLY way you got here on this earth was through your mother. You might not understand her sometimes and she might even make you mad or get on your so-called nerves. But she is still your mother and you need to man up and handle your business and show her respect at all times.

You might love your father and be happy that his is in your life. Or, you might hate your father for something heís done or for not being a part of your life. You might even be mad or sad and miss your father because he is no longer living or because he is in jail. If you have hard feelings about your father youíve gotta find a way to get over them.
