In the Autumn of 2006 a small group of people gathered in, Brigg, United Kingdom. They had responded to a Fresh Start idea that an over 50s' creative writing group could be formed. The age range of members spanned from 51-83 and it was agreed that their initial focus would be on writing short stories and poems for children. There were no great expectations or grandiose aims but it soon became obvious that all members of the group, some expereienced writers and some not, possessed a wealth of talent. Fresh Start backed the publication of a book. The grouped teamed up with 9 and 10 year old pupils at a local Primary School so they could illustrate the Anthology. The talent of the children can also be seen in the book.
