"Right now? No thanks." He knew what she meant; he just thought it was a good time to insert some wit into the situation. She giggled. "I meant, you have a nice body…very fit. You must do a lot of… push-ups… or… whatever. Wow. That sounds really, really dumb now that I hear it out loud." Selena rolled her eyes as if to mock herself. "I should probably talk less." He laughed. She joined him. She felt so good in his arms. With the rain slowing a bit, Selena lifted her head from Jay's chest. She looked into his eyes as drops of rainwater splashed one by one over his face and hair. Time slowed. Although Selena found his gaze extremely comforting, there was also that twinge of `bad boy', a combo she found very erotic. She invited him with her eyes to move in. He accepted. He inched closer to her, gently extending his tongue. Selena eased her mouth open, feeling his tongue, and his lips pressing against hers. She closed her eyes, tilted her head, and pressed back.

Spending hours alone at a ranch, with only the animals to talk to, can do strange things to a girl’s mind, as Selena is to discover .When gorgeous vet Jay Walker finally arrives, it seems that there is more than the horse needing his attention. With a new lease of life and a sudden desire to feel free and alive again, Selena embarks on a hot journey of discovery with the handsome vet in toe.

DESTINY FORGED is a very sexy story, with a wonderful backdrop, glimpses of humor and just the right amount of romance. The sex is sultry and intimately descriptive, providing a sensual escape for the reader. Though this is a brief glimpse at this author’s work, it has definitely whetted my appetite to see more from him.
