Use the power of your whole brain, your ‘MAXIMUM MIND’ for maximum creativity and minimum anxiety. This book explores the nature of creativity and how to use it in your business and personal life. If you thought you weren’t the creative type - guess again!

This book will help you explore the creative processes, and give you tools to stimulate and call forth your own creativity. The methods shown will help not only in day to day decision making, not only in longer term planning, but can also help you find direction in your life, opening the door to a brighter, more joy-filled tomorrow

Creativity is the ability to reach into the vast untapped inner reaches of the mind to pull out solutions to problems, interesting and fresh ideas, artistic or unique designs. It is a way of leaping to the shortcuts to get something done, without getting bogged down in analysis or picky detail. It involves coming to see that our mind is an incredible store-house, or perhaps a channel, of knowledge and ideas that we don't know that we know. Reaching these ideas is a matter of belief and technique. While some people may be better at it than others, everyone can do it. In fact, we all use our creativity whether we know it or not. Some of us create harmony, beauty and success in our lives, while others just as effectively create chaos and hardship.
..... exercising our creativity by choice is a way of turning our daily work into enjoyment. This is because the goal-led person is always heading forward toward something desirable, while others who are merely drifting from day to day are more likely to react with fear and avoidance to irritants they encounter. Of the two great motivational forces, fear and desire, the latter is far more powerful and contributes to a greater sense of joy.

Reader Reviews for "Maxi - Mind"

Reviewed by Darrell Gudmundson 12/7/2007
I worked for over Twenty-five years as a Planner, doing Network Planning, Technology Planning, Strategic Planning and Business Planning. During that time, I collected a huge file on Creativity and its application in companies. I wrote this book in 1991, but refined it over many years. I sold about 100 copies, printed on my own computer system, till I chose to upload it to where you can now buy a beautifully bound copy (unlike the ones I made myself!) I have taught workshops based on this book with great feedback from those attending. I know of no other book that combines the theory of creativity with advice and examples of how to put it to work.
