The Death of an Agent, portrays a young man who has been put in a position in his life that he has to take on the problems of the world on his own shoulders and make it right. Agent Jim Deliviki, must avenge his father’s death after experiencing his father, mother, and new wife’s death on what was suppose to be a wedding gift from his father to him and his new wife. Unfortunately, all hell breaks loose and the cruise ship that they are on has been attacked by foreign fighter jets, possibly hired mercenaries by terrorist. Somehow Jim’s father and some high officials that were on the ship (Coincidence?) were getting too close to revealing a high strung terrorist at large and were sought out and silenced. The wedding gift was a perfect cover up from his father to get closer to solving who this terrorist was by hanging around the high officials, while giving his son a gift. Jim must pickup the trail where his father left off and continue to catch this terrorist and hopefully stop him before he strikes again.

Excerpt

A gray BMW pulled up beside him, and the window rolled down slightly. Jim stared cautiously.
“Can I help you?” he asked.
The door swung open, and a dark figure waved him in.
This must be the Panther, he thought. “Are you the Panther?’ he asked, getting in.
“Yes, but if you tell anyone, I’ll….”
“Don’t worry. Your secret’s safe with me. Wait a minute! You’re the guy from yesterday. Why aren’t you dead? You got hit at least twice.”
“That’s my job. It was all fake. I had to stage my death.”
“Why.”
“Like your father, I was getting too close to the other party, and they must’ve figured out I wasn’t one of them.”
“What about the lady?”
“Her? She’s around. Don’t worry. She knows I’m not dead.”
“What about this note? Who sent it?”
“Let me see it. Ah, yes. You’ve been visited by Ramszy.”
“Who the hell is he?”
“A world-wide terrorist. Do you remember the ship incident?”
“How could I forget?”
“If you’re looking to kill someone, he’s your man. He followed your father for a long time, and your father couldn’t shake him. He was too close to solving one of Ramszy’s plans to wipe out a local Federal building.”
“I recall that now.”
“Somehow, he found out what ship your father was on, but your father wasn’t the only target. There were some high government officials on that boat.”
“He must be pretty powerful.”
“Not in America, but he’s feared in Israel. Their government hates him. He likes to kill just to see blood spilled. Your job is to find him and waste him. If you don’t he’ll kill you. I’ve heard he hates you.”
“Why?”
“You slept with his ex-wife last night.”
“Oh, ****. I can understand that. She’s a double agent?”
“Right, but now, she just works for us. Enough talk. Take this package. Open it and read carefully. Amanda will arrive shortly. Get out.”
“What? Get out?”
“Don’t ask, just get the hell out. We’ll meet again.”
He got out and closed the door. Tires spun, and the car shot around a corner. Jim had never been treated so harshly before.
Where does he get off? Jim wondered. This spy business is really screwed up.
