Get your book seen and sold--guaranteed.
This three part book, On Location, Behind the Scenes, and On the Road, takes you from developing an itinerary for a book signing tour to evaluating your profits at its completion. Experience is the best teacher; this authorative book is based on personal experience (including an 11-city tour), research, and interviews with booksellers, publicists, and authors.
Be creative when considering a venue for a signing. Don't limit your thinking to bookstores. Is your book about gardening, flowers, or horticulture? Why not have an event in a large garden supply outlet? Everyone there will have at least a bit of interest in your subject.
Are you writing of an exciting period of music or interesting musicians? Then consider one of the big local music stores for the seminar.
Are you a professional seminar leader? In addition to selling your books in the back of the room, why not sign your books in a nearby bookstore?

Maryanne Raphael, Writers World
From Book Signing to Best Seller shows authors an inexpensive but highly effective way to promote a book. You learn how to prepare and conduct a publicity tour with the best results at the least expense.
Jo Condrill has conducted successful book signing tours from coast to coast and John B. Slack is well known for his business sales strategies and seminars.
Together, these two authors have created a powerful book. They take you from being a new author planning your first book tour to being a successful author whose book is in demand, perhaps even a best seller.
Here is a step by step plan for anyone trying to publicize a book. Jo and John help you choose the location and date for your event, show you how to tie your book event into a national holiday, or a major news report, and help you use the internet to publicize yourself and your book.
In today's book marketing world most published writers are learning that if their work is to have any kind of shelf life it's up to them to promote it. This book is all you need to get started. From Book Signing to Best Seller is a must for any author whether the book is self-published or published by a major New York publisher.

Reader Reviews for "From Book Signing to Best Seller"
|Reviewed by Jo Condrill
|It is personally rewarding for me to share with others lessons I have learned since becoming a writer. The learning curve is steep, I discovered. It takes a lot of perseverence for a writer to get published and then promote their work. I am happy to help them "take their show on the road" and meet readers who might also enjoy their books. The recently conducted Writers Camp was a huge success because it included the entire process of taking one's thoughts to market. Look for future Writers Camps presented by GoalMinds, Inc. |Excellent. This is the best material I've read on this subject yet. If the rest of the book is as good as the sample, Jo's reader are in a for a real treat!|
