A possible cover idea for my forth coming novel yet to find a publishing house.

It began as an English Comp assignment - and became an unforgetable journey through time...

Ryc Lewis was a motor transport operator in the United States Army who'd just gone through a breakup with the girl he was supposed to marry.  Assighned to come up with a theory on why he thought Emily Dickinson lived her life the way she did, he embarks on a motorcycle trip to where she lived and died.  There he soon discovers that for him going there just wasn't his full destiny - because after falling asleep in her bedroom he wakes up in the same place only not in 1979, but in the year 1858.  The time he believes began the change in her life that eventually secluded her to her bedroom.

Excerpt

"I arrived here by accident," I said and stood before her in my white T-shirt, blue jeans and black leather jacket. "Could you tell me what year it is?"
"1858."
"1858?" I said to myself. "That's a hundred years before I was born. This has got to be a dream."
"I assure you, Sir," she said in a matter of fact tone, but still maintaining her distance from me. "That this is not a dream and that you are indeed standing in my bed chamber."
"You don't understand," I said a little excited. "I'm not from this time. I'm from 1979."
