Chapter 3 provides instruction on basic typography and the first type of publication, logos and logotypes.

Chapter 4 covers typograhical items and letterheads.

Chapter 5 covers emphasis techniques, including color.  It's introduces flyers, posters and advertisements.

Chapter 6 instructs on layout models, typesetting modes, heads and photographs. It covers newsletters and newspapers.

Chapter 7 instructs on viual readability, design elements, special typesetting modes and infographics. It's publications include brochures and pamphlets.

Chapter 8 provides instruction on ink, printing and bindings, and includes booklets.

Chapter 9 instructs on covers, inside and outside pages for magazines and other bound publications.

Cjapter 10 discusses working relationships with various types of vendors. It includes production schedules and legal issues. It focuses on annual reports.

Strategic publications communicate between an organization and target publics about issues relevant to both. Without target publics, there is no need for strategic publications. Thus, you should always know your target public. The more you know about people in your target public, the more likely you are to effectively communicate the organization's message to them.
