Horrific! Tragically Romantic! Darkly Humorous!

Detective O’Keif and his partner, Helga Rosen, really know how to take a bite out of unnatural crime!

There are werewolves in town and O’KEIF, a cynical Homicide Detective with the New York Police Department, is on their hit list. As a marked man, his only chance of survival is to kill the leader of a vicious pack of werewolves before he or his pack members kill him. Unfortunately, werewolves are indestructible. Not even silver bullets work on these guys. But with the help of a silver werewolf, others marked, a phantom, and some human friends, O’Keif plans to fight for his life. And fight he does. From the streets of New York City to a mansion in New Jersey and onto the final show down that will ultimately decide his future and that of others marked.

Excerpt

“Death stalks by the full moon. Beware of the beast that lurks within. He will come for you.” I was on the verge of grabbing her arm and showing her to the door when her small hand knocked the wind out of me. “But that was then and this is now. What I was, I no longer am.”

I squirmed in my seat, rubbed my hands against my pants, and leaned forward. “Jenny, you need help. Professional help . . . not the kind I can give you.”

“You don’t understand.” Oh, I got it all right. The woman was bonkers.

“You are one of us.” She said. “You are plagued by the pentagram.”

Imagine the shock of New York police detective O'Keif when an attractive
young woman named Jenny Costa, approaches him about fighting werewolves?
Even greater is his shock when she insists that he is also a werewolf hybrid
and must now fight for his life?

Soon he is confronted with werewolves belonging to a pack led by Morgan
Montivaile, a rich hotel owner. In his fight for survival another powerful
werewolf known as Lukrusian steps in. What follows is a fight for survival
and dominance among New York City's werewolf population; a population that
O'Keif did not even believe existed.

This novel, a first for A.B. Wallace is a tautly written story with
fast-moving dialogue that carries the reader headlong from one amazing and
horrifying scene to another. This book is definitely not for the faint of
heart.

Excellent craftmanship. Terror stalks the night. Leave the light on, hang garlic by the window, and stock up on silver bullets!
This is a must read for all fans of the werewolf genre. ***** Five stars!

Touching the pages as I turned them brought me into the world of the Werewolf. I kept checking the palms of my hands for fear of what I'd see there. Riveting! spellbinding!
