Confessions of a Vampire’s Lover
The moment Brian spotted Cassie sitting on the moonlit beach, he was hooked. Beautiful, smart, and sexy, Cassie is the girl of his dreams. She didn’t mind that he spent the hot summer days riding the ocean waves, because once the sun set, he belonged to her – all night long!
Everything is perfect between them – until Brian discovers Cassie’s shocking secret. Can Brian give up the sun, sand, and surf to be with the woman he loves?
Read Brian’s first-hand account of their unusual love story in… Confessions of a Vampire’s Lover!
As soon as we got to my place, Cassie had me close all the blinds and run a hot shower. She stripped in the middle of the living room and casually tossed her clothes on the couch.
I stood gaping at her like I’d never seen a naked woman before. “You’re beautiful,” I whispered. And I meant it. Her pale skin was flawless, and the sight of her perky breasts made my mouth water.
Cassie stepped in front of me and ran her fingertips down my bare chest. Her touch sent a shiver through me, but for some reason, it aroused me.
I moaned and closed my eyes. Cassie slid her cold hand lower, past my ribs, down to the waistband of my bathing suit—then stopped and pulled away.
I opened my eyes and caught a glimpse of her as she headed into the steamy bathroom. For a second, it looked like she was vanishing into vapor. I shook my head to clear it, then followed her in…

Brian first saw Cassie on the beach and bingo, something hit him hard. Being a history teacher, his luck with women was never that great. He knew no one wanted to become serious with an unemployed thirty-year-old teacher.
Cassie is at an end of season party when she meets Brian. A week passes before she actually makes a connection with him and she is determined to get closer to him any way she can.
Thanks to his teaching degree, Brian takes off three months to do something he really enjoys, surfing. This year left him worrying since his teacher contract was up. One thing was certain; he no longer wanted to be alone. He gets a glimpse of the lovely Cassie on the beach at midnight. She likes to keep things about herself private. Then sparks fly between them, making him wonder why someone as lovely as herself could love someone like him. Are they really two soul-mates meant to be together, or is this just some wicked dream?
Confessions of a Vampire’s Lover is a hot read. Cassie is a person who goes after what she wants. I loved the way she could often read Brian’s thoughts and end his sentences before he spoke. Some of their more ardent moments were so visual, I could almost see the intensity on their faces. Kelli A. Wilkins creates two different characters who connect well with each other and with the reader. She pens a delightful story I could read again and still fall in love with Cassie and Brian all over again. This enchanting tale has a way of spreading sunshine to the heart.

4 out of 5 stars!
Brian can remember the first time he laid eyes on Cassie. It was during a midnight walk along the beach in Virginia. He had just finished a two year teaching stint. Brian was trying to figure out what he wanted next from life till she came into the picture. He wanted to talk to her but before he could, she had disappeared.
While at a buddy’s house party, Brian sees his mystery woman again. Right away Brian and Cassie feel an instant attraction to one another. Soon Brian and Cassie can’t keep their hands off each other. Brian believes Cassie is a dream come true, till he learns the truth about her. Now Brian has to make a decision to accept Cassie for who she is or take off running as fast as he can in the opposite direction.
Let me first off start by saying…Wow! Confessions of a Vampire's Lover is one scorching read. When I said that Brian and Cassie couldn’t keep their hands off each other, I wasn’t joking. The sex between these two was so steamy that if it got any hotter, Brian and Cassie would be on fire. At just only 49 pages, Confessions of a Vampire's Lover is one quick read and I have put Kelli A. Wilkins on my must read list.

4 stars! Great!
Brian is a history teacher from September to May, but come June, he hits the beach. He is a surfer at heart and feels most alive in the sun and surf. One night, while struggling to find himself in the serenity of the ocean, he sees Cassie on his stretch of beach. He is immediately drawn to her and while he is trying to start up a conversation, she disappears. Next, she shows up at a wild party one night and they finally get to speak. Brian is tempted by Cassie in ways no other woman has ever come near. Cassie has some strange, unexplainable habits, though, and Brian is too lost in lust and love to delve to deep into his suspicions.
Eventually, they hit a bump in the road. When Cassie confesses her secret to Brian, he has a hard time believing her. Now, all that is left is for the two of them to work out this problem. Will Brian be able to believe in Cassie and love her forever?
I feel that the author did a fabulous job with the male insight in this story. Brian tells the story and it comes across just as if he were sitting next to you. Cassie and Brian have serious chemistry and it really comes across in the pages. This is a short story and I do mean short. However, the author gets her point across and it does not feel like the it is limited or shorted in any way. I do wish there had been more length, only because I wanted more of Brian - he is hot! If you are looking for a quick read to pick your spirits up (and warm other strategic parts), don't miss CONFESSIONS OF A VAMPIRE'S LOVER.
