Your woke up by a loud bump in the night. You jump out of bed and flip on the light. You stand there shaking consumed by fright. You wrap your arms around yourself close and tight. After a few minutes no breath escapes you. You decide that it must be your imagination that wakes you. You get back into bed, being sure to jump from two feet, pull up the covers and sigh really deep. It is silent, not a peep. And just before you go to sleep, you hear the breathing steady and deep. And you realize that you have become a victim of Night Screams.
