Many people say today's political landscape is corrupted and people have lost faith in the politicians entrusted to serve them. The book The Philosophy of Governance
examines these issues and offers ways for administrating and developing a trustworthy administration dedicated to society's welfare.
This treatise envisions a society free from poverty, lawlessness, and, eventually, free from corruption. Chapter One explores a principle for success that is interwoven through the fabric of governance and society. In Aristotelian style, the discussion traces this principle through the basic institution of family and into the Federal government, the judiciary, and legislature.
Plato's administrative father (the philosopher, Ruler) reflects on the responsibility of the ruler, reasoning through arguments that focus on issues of sound governance. Concerns from grass roots political action to Federal governance and election procedures are addressed. Logical and pragmatic directions are laced through the dialogues that show the extent to which today's leaders have deviated from their true duty as public administrators. The force of later pages and the treatment of spying seem weaker because the arguments are not pragmatic. Better practices exist today.

In a system every one should get maximum benefits out of governance, that is every individual’s right. This should be the philosophy of governance. The functioning of the government should resemble that of a human body, a total co-ordination of every selfless organ. Philosophy and empty promises will not fill an empty stomach, but following through on the promises of satisfaction shall be a fulfilling food. False propaganda will not bear fruit, but ploughed land and hard work will garnish enough crops to feed the masses. Rights cannot be harvested unless the sense of duty is dutifully invested. Unless the sense of responsibility is honored the holiness of right is an empty promise. In the place it is honored there is prosperity, where there is not, it is a barren land.
