A spoof detective story in which mistaken identies fly all over the place

It was all supposed to be a pleasent sunny day looking out across the Atlantic Ocean, then curiosity slipped in. A Renault Maganne was observed driving along the quite country lane, but then as it passed a hedgerow it never emerged the other side?

Curiosity led to series of clues as to the car, and then a kidnapping or two. Even the cat Morgan was confused, nothing like that ever happens along Atlantic Way.
