i set myself on the edge of jacobs bed. he stands by his window and stare at me emotionlessly, arms crossed over his sleek bare chest. we are talking about my sudden decision to runaway to my dream state, california. he's trying desperately to change my mind.
"if you do go... do you have any family up there? you know to help you incase you need it?" he says, staring directly in to my eyes. that hurts alot.
"i don't need any help! im almost 18. i can do whatever i want by MYSELF." i replie, knowing that 'myself' piece would scare him....
