Sister Girl..."You can't do that at work!" is a book of corporate etiquette for women of color. The author, Etta Kit, recounts humorous incidents in office protocol. Included are insightful tips on wardrobe, fashion, and style. Etta Kit covers all the daily challenges of being at work. From walking through the door in the morning to finishing up a day's work, Etta Kit keeps everyone putting their best foot forward. This book is a must-have for every high-school or college graduate and every working woman. The humor will touch a place in your heart and mind as you find yourself relating to the characters. Inside there is wisdom that is hardly found in a traditional teaching environment. Readers are sure to benefit from keeping a desk-copy for reference over and over again. Etta Kit never goes out of style.

Professional Reviews

Assistant Review
The subject matter make this great book a must read for every career woman. This book is honest and humorous." --T.M., Assistant

Corporate Manager Review
This is a classic example of what every woman needs to know but is not comfortable hearing. You will recognize your flaws, yet be motivated to laugh and correct yourself accordingly. Etta puts it down like your best friend would. Heed this word, my sisters! Stop being in denial and let's get CORRECT!" --D.G., Corporate Manager

Retiree & PhD Review
Where was this book years ago?" --Ruth S., Retiree

This is a practical self-help book on several levels. It is a genuinely salutary guide for women who desire to be graceful, alluring, and polished. Though the book extends to `women of color', it is equally resourceful for ALL women. Etta Kit offers comprehensive advice that is all-inclusive to any woman, who desires to portray decorum in the workplace.

This is a quick read that could change a woman's life for the better. Even though the book is geared toward workplace etiquette, the conventional insight can be used in multiple contexts. I think that the "commonsensical" wisdom released by Etta Kit is addictive. I could not put the book down. I read the entire book in one sitting.

Men should purchase it for their women. Women should secure it for themselves and for their daughters. Volunteers should acquire it for their debutantes, mentees, and students. Every woman should have this guidebook of social graces.

Thank you Etta Kit for releasing the rules of propriety!!!MD
