'Puppy Love' shows love, fun and caring through the eyes of two pups, Shadow and Sadie. The reader not only laughs, but learns being different makes a friendship more unique!
Puppy Poetry by Holly McCain
My books are not only fun, but inspirational! They show the love of a dog, through a through the eyes of a dog.
Shadow and Sadie are sisters. They may be pups, but their relationship is much like all sisters. Shadow is the eldest, but smallest. She corrects Sadie when she gets out-of-hand. Sadie, she lets Shadow know she's taller. They love each other and tolerate each other too.
Readers whom read the first book in the series, 'Brown Eyes,' know Shadow has a boyfriend. His name is Bear, so Bear's a dog, who cares!
The reader sees a unique friendship between a cat and a dog. She even shows us flowers and frogs.
A must family read!
Shadow and Sadie
I want to share a story with you.
It's about Shadow and her sister Sadie.
They kiss a lot. Their fights are few.
Did you know Sadie rhymes with Adie?
Did you know sisters can be friends?
Wrestling isn't fighting.
Who wins? Well it all depends.
It's the one who wasn't biting.
They will always be close.
Those sisters will be.
Always playing and kissing, I suppose.
That's how God meant for sisters to be.
And if I could wish one wish this year,
do you know what that wish would be?
I'd like people to have a sisterhood,
much like Shadow and her Sadie.
