"Some cars have characater. Leapin' Lena,a model-A Ford, had so much character we thought of her in human terms. She could be a moody woman, a stubborn child or a creaky old lady. At times she was a "ball of fire" and at others a "shrinking violet." She ran hot and cold and sometimes not at all.
