Daddy Doesn't Want to Dance Anymore

Lawrence McHenry is a young ambitious lawyer from Harvard is looking to make his mark in the court of justice, by riding the backs of his clients he has distain towards that's inspired by his own personal beliefs about African American culture.  Lawrence believe the further he distances himself from the so-called Black experience the better off he'll be. However, he comes across a bump in the road as he face off with one of his most difficult client  ever in DeShawn King.

The love/hate relationship these two men share will keep you captivated throughout the entire novel. Each feels strongly about their views when it comes to defining the essence of African American culture, so strong that neither one is willing to give grounds in their beliefs.
