This collection of poetry is about the memories we hold within our own minds, along with all the pain and torment...
Stumbling through the closet, one often finds nightmares, dreams, and memories of a not-so-distant past. In The Photos in the Closet, you'll be guided through a young man's journey through life. Through his past, present, and future/his dreams and adventures-his goals.
See the love, the loss, and the pain through the eyes of a young dreamer.

Professional Reviews
Steven Pody, author of The Panoptikon
This poetic collection, "The Photos In The Closet", is a genuinely affecting anthology, expressed beautifully and from the heart. The author, Daniel Lopez, places no artifice or filter upon the many facets of his lively interaction with life as he lives it and as he feels it, day after day. He aspires to tell true tales, vignettes, that ring with clarity, freshness and colorful honesty. In his triumphs and in his pain; in victory, or sifting through the choking ashes of the mysteries and majesties of love, Mr. Lopez has masterfully given us a worthy read.
I have not often encountered such an unvarnished (though not unsophisticated) tour of the daily personal musings and accumulation of passion's battle scars given with such pure and straight-from-the-heart delivery. A delightful read, I would recommend this book to any seeking further understanding of the human heart, sympatico vibes, or a revisit to the flaming memories that remind us that love is indeed the spice and delight of life.

Gerard Lebel, author of Talking To Myself
A wonderful peak into the crowded closet of the author. The reader feels as though he or she is listening in on a private conversation, as one clings to each word. A worthwhile addition to your poetry shelf or your library in general.
Prince Mensah, author of Prophylaxis
In Photos in the Closet, the poet draws a stunning tapestry of life and love in varying forms and shapes. The level of acceptance given to things as they occur creates the imagery of flawless swimming throughout the book of poetry. This is a must-read for anyone serious about reading new and authentic poetry!
