We spent the day's watching baseball and softball games. Randall and Shandall loved baseball and softball for years. It was a joy to watch Randall hit the ball or catch a ball. It was also a joy to watch Shandall, scrunch down behind home plate, as the catcher. She was so small. She was the only volunteer for hind catcher.
Randall played third base a lot. He had a gift of catching the ball. Shandall could pitch well, when she got older. She struck a lot of girls out in softball. The girls played fast picth softball. While you were at the field, you also had to have a hotdog to go with the game.
