Babel's Gate -- Issue One
The first issue of a new literary magazine. Incluides short stories and poems, as well as book reviews and charts.
The first issue of Babel's Gate includes a few short stories and poems from some members of the WritersCafe website. There are also book charts from both the UK and the United States and some trivia on the origins of Halloween, that will hopefully provide ideas for reader's own creativity.
Issue 1 of Babel’s Gate, a new publication covering a variety of subjects within the world of literature. Each issue will provide new and amateur authors the opportunity to get their work in print, although more experienced writers are more than welcome to contribute. There will also be ideas and material to help writers with their projects. For example, in this issue we look at the origins of Halloween and how the festival is celebrated in different countries.
Babel's Gate also aims to cater for the fans of the literature world as well as the creators. Among other things, each issue will include the current book charts at the time of publication and reviews of some more well-known authors, both recent and classic.
