"Hello." Her small raspy voice answered. Wes nodded as he took a step closer. The

girl flinched back to the wall.

"Its okay, I am not here to hurt you." Wes reached out to her slowly. "Do you know where you are?" He asked.

The girl nodded. Her face was unrecognizable from the swollen bruises under her eyes. Her nose looked as if it had been broken more than once. And her lips puffed out from the fists Wes imagined had made contact more than once.

"What's your name?" she whispered as her eyes flickered towards the steel bars then back
to him.

"Wesley. And you are?" He answered as he sat back giving her space.

"My name is Samantha Blakemen." Wes stumbled back as he tried to see her again with
this new revelation. The face was not that of the carefree girl he once knew from his
youth.

"No" slipped from his lips as he clasped his hand over his mouth.

"I'm like you," Her voice strained as she leaned in close to him. Confidence drained out
in each word that she uttered. Her small beady eyes peered deep into his soul as fear
gripped his heart.

“I am a terrorist.”
