Easy tips to follow, a must have for anyone with stress
My stress levels have been so high that I was seeing my doctor all the time for headaches, high blood pressure, anxiety attacks, stomach problems and insomnia. Every time he told me to reduce my stress, and I tried many things. I used to be able to meditate and find a few minutes of relief, but then my stress even got in the way of that. This book came at just the right time. Some of the tips in this book are so easy to remember and easy to do when my stress flares up. The creative visualization chapter helped me to crystallize my visualizations and I can do the 6 simple steps in less than 15 seconds now and this helps me in my meditations. It used to take me 15 minutes or more to calm enough to meditate and I don't always have that much time. The Honor Yourself chapter has reminded me that I am important, and if I don't take care of myself first, then I can't really be fully present in my life, or be there for anyone else. The simple meditation in this chapter only takes a couple of minutes, and that's all I need to feel empowered again. The GetUp and Move chapter inspired me to contact one of the charities, and how I have a new outlet for my stress, I have met a few new friends and I am paying it forward and giving back at the same time. Each chapter is a jewel, and I carry this book with me everywhere. Whenever I have a few minutes I read a page or two for a quick tip or a new insight. It is my gift of choice this season.

Great information on managing stress and an example of good business practices
Sure we're all stressed. Some of more than others and since we are all so different, the same answer doesn't work for everyone. That's where this book is great. This book offers so much with over a dozen co-authors sharing their expertise and wisdom. Some of my favorite quotes are reprinted in this book. I found a lot of good advice that I had never thought about previously. Some chapters are a quick read and many of the tools can be applied to nearly any stress situation. The cute pictures add to the ease of reading and remembering the tips long after you close the book.
Some of my favorite chapters are "8 really good reasons to hire a virtual assistant." Ms. Costanzo writes it with such clarity and wit, it makes it real clear how easy and beneficial it should be to delegate.

The chapter on "Job Stress" by Ms. Accad included some very easy action steps. Who doesn't have stress at work?? The tips in this chapter can help anyone to have a better day at work.

Some advice seems so simple, such as "Change the Channel", and "Breathing is Essential", and "Change in Perception", but we all seem to overlook the easy ones when stress hits. The information in these chapters are easy reminders of how simple we can make it.

The "Get up and Move" chapter can help anyone find a good reason to add exercise to their life by partnering with a worthy cause. And on the topic of worthy causes, if you order the book through the publishers website, the publisher and primary author, Sumner M. Davenport, share profits with your choice of charity. I bought gifts for all my friends, so I could also get a donation to my favorite charity for breast cancer research.
