The What If Project

What If is experiential quantum,a blend of science, philosophy and hands on practical happiness.

What If? - all 3 Lbs of it at 499 pages (makes a great doorstop) is an in-depth romp through science, philosophy, and practical, mud between your toes, participation in this experience we call reality.
It began life intended as a course for teenagers. And still is, only, as it says on the back cover...
That doesn’t mean it’s not for everybody. It means = It is.
What it is is a heavy flirtation with quantum physics, neuroscience, string theory, the vacuum field, and all those strange goings on of the subatomic world. But don’t let that put you off. It’s not over your head. It’s in it. It’s a step by step process that includes those subjects as tools in learning how to use that head of yours differently, expansively, coherently. In short - big fat smiling happily.
It digs into breathing, seeing, listening, questioning, laughing, and paying attention to paying attention. It’s about energy, change, beliefs, light, sound, time, history, technology, meditation, the occasional reference to penguins, and precisely right here, right now.
It’s about every damn thing you can think of because... It’s about consciousness, which means = It’s about you.
It's a rather interesting - language - sound - comparison - to see our word - aware - next to those two words - a - and - where ~ Our awareness (a-where-ness) - is a constant locator device - always rubbing bits of information together to decide (or work out) - where we are - in relation to - sensation - emotion - navigation - interaction - opinion ~ Our thinking locates - where we stand - with what's going on - according to - what has gone on before - or might happen - expect to happen - plan to happen - or wish would just go ahead and happen ~ Our entire world revolves around - where - things - are ~ So - that's the job of the particle ~ It’s that bit of pavement the tire just rolled onto - and of course - the tire itself - the rest of the car - the landscape - the - everything ~ And then = It’s the wave again.

The funny - thing - is = If - this particle wave business is what’s really going on - or - 1 - 2 - 1 - 2 - wave - particle - wave - particle - then = Both - are happening for equal amounts of time (again from that time orientation viewpoint - which doesn’t actually make it true) - all the time ~ In other words = If the wave collapses to a particle - say - forty times a second - then = Every second would be broken into twice that number of parts - or = Forty events of particle - and = Forty events of wave ~ Which means = That an equal amount of time - in your life (all our lives) - is spent as a thing - as it is - as a no thing - or = As limited to what we perceive through our senses - and = As an unlimited field of possibilities.
